I contacted Unique Builders and Remodeling to rebuild some areas of my home that were contaminated with mold. The mold had already been remediated. Unique Builders and Remodeling promptly got me on the schedule for an inspection and quote. Andrew came out, and spent a ton of time with me understanding out issue, and discussing how he would go about fixing everything, making plenty of suggestions along the way. Done with our secondary bathroom and so excited with how it came out. Eric was easy to deal with and was on top of anything that came up. We wanted to change the wall color after they started painting and Eric came in and made the switch on the spot and went to pick up the paint we wanted. Since no one was home they where able to work on there own schedule and got the bathroom completed it a lot quicker then expected.

THIS IS NOT THE SAME ONE AS THE UNIQUE IN PORTER, TX!We called them thinking they were the one in Porter but continued to meet them anyway. We had Noah who had a cars salesmen type of attitude. He did every scammer trick in the book. He tried to tell my grandma (who was the one getting work done on her house after a storm) that she needed to sign (and agree to pay an unspecified amount) RIGHT NOW. She wanted to talk to insurance first but he tried to pressure her and had some snarky remarks so bad my mom just got up and left (he did apologize after she walked out though). Anyway, we didn’t sign and it seems like we dodged a bullet.

Worst builders ever. Did not come through with anything promised. Did not care for our property at all. When texted about damage they did was told “it was old and rusted”. Would have been nice to at least tell us of the damage they did. Was told put wood down as not to damage yard. I was so hopeful at first but big let down.

I am very pleased with Unique Builders, Ronen ( Project Manager), and his team are professional, respectful, and did an excellent job on remodeling my kitchen and my master bathroom. I found them theu Houzz website. Originally, I only had 2 projects, and when I saw the transformation of my place and how good and efficient their team are, I kept adding more projects. My first floor is completely remodeled and beautiful , and it turns out to be a modern house and not 70's old house.I picked the Unique Builder out of two other contractors after interviewing Ronen first and Ana second, who is the designer. There was never an issue with communication at all. I can text them anytime and get an immediate response.Most of all, I trust their workers. I was out of town for a week, and nothing was missing. Instead, I see only progress taken place in my kitchen. It is very important to hire a contractor that you can trust.

Had them out to give me a quote on a patio cover. They wanted $2,000 for the design of an aluminum patio cover. There was no mention of this when I scheduled the free quote. I was given a ballpark price from the sales guy and said he would call me the next day to discuss. This was on 5/14 and I never heard back. I'm assuming it's because I didn't give him the 2K. Before he left we discussed payment opinions and I let him know I will be paying cash. He said I should consider financing because "Even my rich customers finance". This seems like a great sales strategy.

Just finished a major remodeling of our home with Unique Builders. Very pleased and I would highly recommend them. Ronen (Project Manager) and his team were great to work with, from design through completion of construction. Demolition and construction was quick as well. I was expecting to be out of the house at least twelve weeks and we were able to move back in after eight weeks. Eddie, the site manager, was great as well. Very high quality of work and very responsive to concerns raised along the way. Costs were as contracted with no haggling along the way. I expect they may not be the lowest bidder you can find but I believe you get what you pay for and I’m very pleased we went with Unique Builders.

We have completed 2 projects with Unique Builders. The ease of the working relationship on our first project naturally lead to engaging Unique for a second project. We would 10/10 recommend working with Unique. The ease of communication alone was a huge selling point.Projects:1. Flat Roof Rebuild2. Bathroom Build-back and Remodel of Primary Bathroom and closet redesignThe first project was completed with Marc and Scott. They were absolutely amazing at easing my stress and anxiety as we embarked on our first rebuild as homeowners. They explained everything that they were doing to eliminate the issues we were experiencing. The crews performing the work were very respectful and professional. When we had to call Unique back out for warranty work on this project and there were zero issues. Darryl responded within 24 hours of notice and Unique was out to complete the repairs within 2 weeks. Darryl was an absolute joy to work with and embodies customer service.Project number 2 for the bathroom build-back and remodel was completed with Ronen and material selection with Ana at the design center. At the time that we started working with Ronen the bathroom was partially demolished due to a water leak. Since the portions of the walls, shower, and vanity were affected by the water leak we planned to do a little bit of a bathroom update. In meeting with Ronen, we discussed how to use the space more effectively to make the space feel like a true Primary bathroom. The initial design we discussed in our meeting did not work out with the bathroom dimensions so Ronen took a shot at presenting a new design with our specific needs in mind. Ronen took our ideas and transformed them into a work of art. The design he shared with us exceeded our expectations.To be expected with any remodel there were tweaks to the design plan as different phases of the project fell into place. Ronen was able to provide his expertise and pivot on the design plan to ensure the integrity of the bathroom design was maintained. His eye for design is unmatched. Throughout the remodel we were beyond impressed at how every aspect of the bathroom pulled together. Ronen is an artist disguised as a builder.The crews for the bathroom were very respectful and professional. The communication was great and they addressed all of my concerns throughout the day to ensure my needs were met.

Unique Builders have worked on our water leak damage which includes replacing floors, walls and ceiling.They did a good job of putting everything together. I specifically would like to thank Jeremy who was the project manager for going above and beyond to make sure everything gets done correctly.The only point I can take off of from giving them 5 stars is because there was a communication issue with the upper manager who step in while Jeremy was out due to health issues. I recently worked with Andrew Koy on a redesign and build of our kitchen and it was a great experience. Andrew is incredible professional. From the first visit, he served as an advisor and helped me better understand what we needed to expand and make our small kitchen space more useful. He is super responsive and as soon as we were ready to start the job he was ready to get started. He managed the crew impeccably. The team was always on time and working every day from 8 - 5 (even arriving 15min early on most days). The crew is trustworthy and respectful and were always eager to hear my thoughts around the progress. They cleaned up the space and the working station every day which made it a lot easier to live in a "construction zone". Andrew and the team are meticulous and care about every detail of the work. They worked really fast and we were able to have a functioning kitchen within a week and a fully remodeled kitchen in 2 weeks. Darryl was a pleasure to work with on the large scale remodel we did to our home. They paid great attention to detail from the demolition phase, thru framing and finishing. This summer we decided to do a major kitchen renovation. This is our second remodel project with Unique. I can't recommend these guys enough. Their design team created a beautiful plan and their construction team (Alex) and GC (Scott) were amazing in executing the plan. What I love most is not everything went as planned but any issues and concerns were addressed and corrected. The carpet in our son's room was stained. The plastic tore and construction dust and feet stained it. Scott had it cleaned and it didn't come up so they had it replaced. No arguments from them.They are not the cheapest, but they justify their price with their work.My wife and I are extremely happy with Unique and will use them again if we have any other home remodeling needs.

Last year they did our garage renovation and we were very pleased so we decided to go with them again. Once again we were not disappointed. We used Unique Builders to remodel our bathroom in October 2021 and were so pleased with the results that we rehired them for a outdoor patio project that was completed March 2022. This project was to take space from our 3 car garage and create a covered patio area in the backyard that never existed before. This included framing, rewiring, moving pipes, removing a brick wall, and installing a beam for structural integrity.Ronen, the project manager, listened to our needs and offered great design ideas! Some design suggestions were a little out of our comfort zone, but Ronen is good about explaining the vision as well as finding alternative material/color options that reflected our style while staying true to the overall "rustic chic" design project aesthetic. We felt very supported the entire time. Ronen was always quick to answer all queries immediately and frequently visited the site to ensure the project was progressing on time and following the design plan.We specifically requested the same crew (Javier Lara and Team) for this project. Javier Lara and his team are super friendly, professional and reliable. The crew showed up every day at the exact same time to work and would leave around 5:00-6:00pm. They are efficient and also offered helpful alternative project suggestions we ended up incorporating to change the original design plan into an even better one! And the estimated 6-8 week remodel was completed AHEAD OF SCHEDULE in just 3.5 weeks!!! And it would have been completed sooner except we had to wait for a few parts delayed in shipping and delivery due to global supply chain issues. The patio turned out great and overall good quality and workmanship. Very pleased with the results!!!

To make a very long story short, this company provided home repairs following the 2021 February freeze. We had the floors and a couple of walls and ceilings replaced due to water damage. The contractor refused to start the work until the entirety of the scope of work was approved through insurance causing us to live out of our home under construction with a new born who was born days before the contractor finally started work in late April. The estimate they provided was not at all the work they performed. Our contractor said the line items not performed were added in lieu of an additional estimate for work we asked to get done outside of our insurance claim and as an upgrade to what insurance was covering (carpet to wood floors). I believe this is called insurance fraud. I asked for the estimate to be corrected to show what was actually performed with an additional estimate for what we asked to be done in addition, but never received this. They originally said they would perform mold testing to determine if additional walls needed replacement, but this never occurred to our knowledge. Even the mold we visually found was not removed properly nor according to how the estimate said it was handled. The contractor only walked our home twice and we were left to supervise the work of the sub contractors and coordinate issues. We even pointed out items left unfinished or performed poorly, but nothing was done to resolve this. While we continued to fight with insurance for payment of all the work they unnecessarily added on, Unique threatened to send us to collections. If we weren’t in the process of buying and selling our home, I would have risked collections and sent them to court. Utterly disappointed in the level of unprofessionalism from this company.

Overall this was a good experience. We are happy with how the bathroom turned out. Ronen helped us select the design and coordinate the project. There were a few hiccups towards the end, but the project was completed to satisfaction.

I really wanted to use this company to do our remodel but after visiting my house the contractor, Matt, wouldn't reply to my wife. really frustrating because he did text back twice but took a week to reply and then said he sent a quote to my email (he didn't) and when I asked him to check the email address he again ghosted us.I would say he seemed knowledgeable and professional but im actually super upset with the lack of communication. If he didn't want to do our house that's okay we just wish we weren't waiting on him considering wee are moving in a hotel right now waisting time.

We contracted Unique Builders to renovate our kitchen in July 2020. Ronen K was our project manager. The job required a complete rebuild of the kitchen, removing posts, walls and installing new posts and beam. Ronen spent a considerable amount of time working with my wife and I on the design of the kitchen, providing us various options to maximize the space, the kind of materials we could use and recommendations on the appliances. The project lasted about nine weeks which was attributable to us changing the scope of the work to include other areas of the house which Unique had no problem including into the project. They ensured every detail was covered. When an issue came up, Ronen was there to resolve it quickly. The result was a beautiful better functioning kitchen with an open concept. We would highly recommend Unique Builders and Ronen as your project manager.

UNPROFESSIONAL! Awful service! Their employee, Ronan, was crazy and tried to force us to sign a contract on their first visit and won’t leave respectfully! He us feel very uncomfortable. When we told him we were going to hire him he threw a fit like a 5 year old. He said that whoever we hire will mess it up and we’ll have to call him to fix it. That is definitely not the case. Extremely happy we did not hire them. STAY AWAY!

Since my mom was turning 76, I needed to make my mom’s bathroom (the master bathroom) handicap-friendly and wanted to update the design a bit at the same time. From the initial estimate and design with Jeremy to the final execution, they were absolutely professional and easy to work with. We had to widen a bathroom door and move and expand the shower, along with moving some storage capacity. Well, before the process even began, my mom ended up having a stroke. I chose to use Unique instead of the other contractors I had spoken to because of their reputation. Their bid was a little bit higher, but I knew that it was worth it to me to choose a firm that would do a quality, no-hassle job. With Mom so ill, I needed this remodel to be as easy as possible.I’m so glad I chose them..the work they did was gorgeous, they handled the inevitable changes with grace, and the one little post-construction issue I found was resolved the same day. They helped me strike an ideal balance between having handicapped features and updating the design.

Unique Did an excellent job. Management kept in touch and the crew was experienced and did an excellent job. Each day they let us know what was to be done that day and checked at the end of the day to make sure we were satisfied with the work. We were on a tight schedule due travel commitments and they made sure to meet our deadline. I highly recommend them.

I had a awesome experience with Unique Builders and Development. They were able to come up with a great design that allowed us to utilize wasted attic space and turn into a beautiful spare room/crafting space for my wife and kids. The project manager Jermey was very professional and upfront about the project. The crews were amazingly hard working and cleaned up the job site ever day.
